FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Yes. Yes. Prenatal massage is generally considered safe for most healthy pregnancies and can help decrease stress, reduce swelling due to hormonale changes, ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. As a prenatal massage specialist, I use techniques and positioning specifically designed for the comfort and safety of expectant mothers. If you have a high-risk pregnancy or specific medical concerns, please consult your healthcare provider before scheduling and let me know about any recommendations or restrictions so I can determine whether treatment is appropriate and accommodate your needs accordingly.
Labor induction reflexology is a specialized technique traditionally used to encourage the body's natural preparation for labor when a pregnancy has reached full term. While reflexology cannot guarantee that labor will begin, many clients have reported positive results following their sessions. In my experience over the years, I have seen this technique be an effective part of a natural approach to supporting the body's readiness for labor.
Every pregnancy and body responds differently. This service is intended to support relaxation and the body's natural processes rather than force labor. In addition to focused reflexology techniques, the session includes soothing massage of the feet, hands, and arms to promote deep relaxation, improve circulation, and help reduce swelling and discomfort often experienced during late pregnancy. Many clients find the treatment calming, nurturing, and beneficial regardless of whether labor begins immediately afterward.
Will pregnancy massage reduce swelling?
Prenatal massage can help reduce mild pregnancy-related swelling by encouraging healthy circulation and supporting the movement of lymphatic fluid. During your session, I use gentle manual lymph drainage techniques on the legs, feet, and arms to help decrease fluid buildup and improve comfort. Many expectant mothers notice less swelling, lighter-feeling legs, and greater relaxation after treatment. However, sudden or severe swelling should always be evaluated by your healthcare provider, as it may indicate a medical condition requiring prompt attention.
You don't have to navigate pregnancy alone—support makes every step a little easier.
Q: What is Pregnancy Life Coaching?
A: Pregnancy Life Coaching provides one-on-one guidance, encouragement, and accountability to help you achieve your personal goals during pregnancy. Sessions focus on healthy habits, stress management, confidence, preparation for motherhood, and creating positive lifestyle changes.
Q: Is Pregnancy Life Coaching therapy?
A: No. Pregnancy Life Coaching is not therapy or counseling. It is designed to provide motivation, goal setting, accountability, and support. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or mental health care.
Q: Can you help me develop healthier habits during pregnancy?
A: Yes. Coaching can help you stay motivated to make healthier choices, such as improving your nutrition, staying active with your healthcare provider's approval, reducing stress, creating healthy routines, and maintaining habits that support a healthy pregnancy.
Q: Can Life Coaching help me quit smoking or drinking?
A: Pregnancy Life Coaching provides encouragement, accountability, and practical strategies to support healthy lifestyle changes, including quitting smoking and avoiding alcohol during pregnancy. Coaching is designed to complement—not replace—medical care and professional cessation programs when needed.
Q: Who can benefit from Pregnancy Life Coaching?
A: Any expectant mother looking for extra support, motivation, or accountability can benefit. Whether you're preparing for motherhood, managing stress, balancing work and family, or working toward healthier habits, sessions are personalized to your goals.

Q: Are sessions private?
A: Yes. Every coaching session is confidential, supportive, and judgment-free, providing a safe space to discuss your goals and challenges.
Pregnancy is a journey best traveled with encouragement, compassion, and support.
Pregnancy is the Perfect Time to Create Healthy Habits that Last a Lifetime
Absolutely! I offer back-to-back couples massages, so each person receives a full, customized session. For expectant parents, we also offer prenatal massage paired with a massage for the partner, creating a customized experience that supports both of you during pregnancy.
It's a wonderful way for expecting parents to relax together and prepare for baby's arrival.
Happy mom, relaxed dad, happy baby.
Couples massage is available for all couples—not just expectant parents. Whether you're celebrating an anniversary, enjoying a relaxing weekend together, recovering after a day on the golf course, entertaining visiting family, or simply looking to unwind, we provide personalized in-home couples massage in the comfort of your own home or vacation rental.
Each person receives a massage tailored to their individual needs and preferences. One partner may prefer deep tissue work for sore muscles, while the other enjoys a gentle relaxation massage. Our goal is to create a peaceful, rejuvenating experience that you can enjoy together.
Relax together. Recharge together. Reconnect together.
Why Couples Massage is More than Just a Special Occassion
Relax...I come to you.
To provide the most comfortable and effective treatment, I require enough space to safely set up and move around the massage table. A quiet room with adequate clearance around the table is ideal.
Because I transport all equipment myself, I prefer ground-floor locations or spaces with convenient elevator access. If your treatment space involves multiple flights of stairs or has limited room for table setup, please let me know when booking so we can determine whether your location is a good fit.
I am certified in the MotherMassage® method founded by Elaine Stillerman. As part of that training, I learned the safe use of a specialized pregnancy cushion system that allows many expectant mothers to comfortably lie face down during portions of their massage.
Unlike a standard massage table, the cushion system is designed to comfortably support the changing shape of the pregnant body. The abdomen does not rest on the table or hang unsupported. Instead, it is gently cushioned and supported all the way around, creating a comfortable and nurturing experience for both mother and baby.
I have been using this positioning system for more than 25 years, and clients often tell me it is one of their favorite parts of the session. Being able to safely relax face down can provide welcome relief from the physical demands of pregnancy while allowing focused work on the back, shoulders, and hips, where tension commonly accumulates.
This positioning also allows for deeper, more effective work on the back, shoulders, and hips, where pregnancy-related tension often accumulates. In addition, gentle myofascial stretching techniques can be incorporated to help relieve lower back compression, improve mobility, and provide welcome relief from the physical stresses of pregnancy.
Wear whatever feels comfortable. For prenatal massage, many clients choose to undress to their comfort level and remain professionally draped throughout the session. Others prefer to wear comfortable clothing. Your comfort, privacy, and sense of security are always respected.
